From the recording Amazing Grace (Bright Shining Like the Sun)
🩷There are many versions of the song "Amazing Grace" so creating yet another was a challenge. We decided to slow the tempo down from the norm and create interludes that feature a musical anomaly called the round of fifths which has the illusion of going higher and higher to reflect one of the songs meanings; transformation of pain to transcendence.
🩷"Amazing Grace," a beloved hymn written by John Newton in 1772, is the cornerstone of inspiration that transcends religious boundaries. Its themes of pain, redemption, grace, and spiritual awakening seem universal throughout time and space.

Lyrics
🦋Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a Soul like me.
I once was lost, but now I am found
Was blind, but now I see.
🦋‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.
🦋Through many dangers, toils and snares
We have already come.
'Twas grace has brought us safe thus far
And grace will lead us home.
🦋When we’ve been there ten thousand years
Bright, shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we've first begun.
🦋Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a Soul like me.
I once was lost, but now I am found
Was blind, but now I see.
