🦋Bhimpalasi is the raga of introspection. It is often played in the late afternoon, capturing the transition of the day as light begins to soften. The use of flattened Ga (E) and flattened Ni (B) gives it a soulful, plaintive quality, while the strong emphasis on Ma (F) creates a sense of emotional anchoring.
🦋“Alap Harmonic Peace” is Inspired by the bansuri flute music of G. S. Sachdev and aligns closely with Raga Bhimpalasi, a late afternoon raga in the Kafi thaat known for its emotive depth and contemplative nature which is akin to the Dorian mode in Western music, characterized by a flattened third and seventh.
