Liv Singh Khalsa aka Liv & Let Liv detailed experience: January 1986 to 2022:

2022 - Produced, recorded and mixed upcoming album with Asher Kramer, Henry Kramer, Chee-Yun,  Ken Mary, D-Bass, Holly Pyle and Kenny Skaggs.

2021 - Produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered the album "Urban Kirtan" with Vic Briggs aka Vikram Singh, guitarist from the legendary band "The Animals". Credits include playing electronic drums, keyboards, and music arrangements. Noteworthy is that the album is an eclectic mix of rock and roll, hip-hop and East Indian music styles. The chanting and singing is in a poetic language from India called Gurmukhi with the hip-hop being in English. Two video have been shot on location and are in post-production.

• Co-wrote with artist Tesz Millan and sang vocal harmonies for the alternative mix of the song "Be Here Now" for the Filipino market in their native language of Tagalog. Recorded, mixed, and mastered for initial release on Bandcamp. Co-filmed and edited music videos for album and single releases.

• Co-wrote, arranged original music, and cover arrangements for the album "Be Here Now" with singer Tesz Millan (starred in the lead roles of major Broadway musicals, including “Miss Saigon” and “Mamma Mia!"). Created the drums tracks using Moog analog drum synthesizers as well as sang background vocals. Recorded, mixed and mastered album and co-created 4 music videos and have 2 more underway for future release.

• Currently recording, mixing and mastering traditional Mexican pop album with artist Adam Martinez. Music features vocals, horns, electric guitars, electric bass, keyboards and drum kit.

2020 - Produced, arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered Neo Jazz album "Yield" with singer and keyboardist Greg Diarra aka Alassane. Alassane's Greg Diarra featured on NPR's tiny desk with Phoenix artist, Courtney Marie Andrews and Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie's bass player). Created 2 videos for the album release using moving still graphics along with on-location video from my extensive video collection. "Yield" is sound manipulation and arranging magic that leans on the music of Peter Gabriel and Nine Inch Nails. It pushes the boundaries of sonics adding to its emotional intensions and weight.

• Co-produced, arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered album "Jewels from Tagore" with Materials scientist, engineer, singer, poet and songwriter Shahriar Alam. "Jewels from the Tagore" are songs from the Nobel Prize Laureate Rabindranath Tagore sung by Shahriar in her native language of Bengali. As a producer my goal was to have a modern spin on this traditional style of music including classical musical arrangements, pop and progressive rock leanings and varied percussion by well-known Australian-Nepali tabla player, Dheeraj Shrestha.

• Recorded, mixed and mastered 15 songs with hip-hop artist PBR (Play Boy Rich). Hip-hop has evolved to be an popular and important part of the expression of ideas "by the people". In this context "by the people" is an art form that almost anyone can participle in as its form is simple and easily available. Learning to record, mix and master hip-hop is an art-form unto itself.

• Recorded, mixed and mastered 5 songs with hip-hop artist Threi Way. Threi Way expresses family values and how he has gotten satisfaction and success in life using catchy phrases and rhythms. • Recorded 4 songs with the East Indian group Satvinder Jatha for use in Bollywood movies.

Noteworthy players on this album include Takeru and Rai Tateishi from the Japanese group Kodo. "Our Mission is to make the Earth a better place by bringing Peace into the Community and by creating a healthy environment for people to live in, through the healing power of ancient sounds and music; to preserve wonderful Native music traditions and to promote Nature preservation and unity with Nature. Get involved with this global movement today! - Ken Koshio"

My record label Invincible Recording sponsored his artist Visa to live in the USA while working on the album. The messages are powerful and the music is simple; guitar, piano and vocals.

2018 - Co-produced, mixed, and mastered album "Zero One" by Sirgun Kaur aka Porter Singer. Instrumentation included extensive layering of acoustic and electric guitars, bass and ukulele. Sirgun is known for her comforting layered vocals inspired by early recordings, which I released with popular artist Singh Kaur in 1986.

"A must-hear fusion of vocals, piano and violin by three classy ladies from the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. They do delightful creative renditions of thirteen classics. The strong and effective interplay among them wraps around every song. Suzanne's violin takes the classics up a notch. Sweet Georgia Brown is on steroids. Nicole and Renee are solid and fill the room. Frequently creative and capricious, they keep me smiling and coming back for more." - reviewer

• Produced, composed original songs, recorded, mixed, mastered, played keyboards and digital drums for 2 albums with artist Miguel Lopez. 2017 - Produced, recorded, mixed, mastered and created album cover (photography and graphics) for album "Sonoran Sound Singing Bowls Vol. One" by Hamid Jabbar; a healing sound therapist and folk musician. Noteworthy are the crystal bowls used are pure clear glass unlike the common frosted construction. These laboratory grade crystal bowls have the purest possible tone as no impurities are in the glass. This creates the most clear and natural resonating sounds for the ears and also the body.

• Co-wrote, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered a song for World-Renowned Celebrity Chef Zipora live cooking shows. Her briefing was she wanted us (myself and percussionist Daniel Hirtz) to create an exiting rhythmic percussion driven song that would attract people to her live events. She said the song was so good that she also used it for the cooking and could have be happier with the results.

• Mixed, mastered and created album graphics and video release for the ambient world beat album "The Peacock's Tale" by Dashmesh, which is a tribute to the Hermetic-Alchemical Tradition. Sonics for this album are very deep and needed studio “magic” to translate through speakers and headphones. Noteworthy artists included experimental trumpet player Toshinori Kondo. (Album note: "Musical consonance occurs in the element which is the mean of all (i.e. air), and reaches the ears through motion, spherical motion: so that it is not surprising that it should be fitting to the soul, which is both the mean of things, and the origin of circular motion. In addition, musical sound, more than anything else perceived by the senses, conveys, as if animated, the emotions and thoughts of the singer's or player's soul to the listeners' spirit; thus it pre-eminently corresponds with the spirit. But musical sound by the movement of the air moves the body: by purified air it excites the aerial spirit which is the bond of body and soul: by emotion it affects the senses, and at the same time the soul: by meaning it works on the mind: finally, by the very movement of the subtle air it penetrates strongly: by its harmonization it flows smoothly: by the conformity of its quality it floods us with a wonderful pleasure: by its nature, both spiritual and material, it at once seizes, and claims as its own, man in his entirety." - Marsilio Ficino).

• Mixed, mastered and created album graphics for the album "A Voice For the Voiceless" by Indigenous Soul Movement (Alexis "Wayah" Holland). This album features music with repeating spoken phrases to give you the experience and understand that you do your job and let the everyday chattering mind do its job. (One simply watches the mind. Let it chatter. You simply become a watcher. Let the traffic of thoughts move. There is nothing to be worried about. It is not going to harm anybody. These thoughts are only soap bubbles. Don't take them seriously. Don't become tense while watching them. Be relaxed. In this space, contemplate on the repeating words and sounds.)

Bach and Guru Gobind Singh lived during the same period of time in the late 1600s and early 1700s but in very different parts of the world. What if these two great composers were to cross paths and collaborate creating spiritually inspired music together? We decided to let our imaginations run wild with this creative vision and blend the contrapuntal inventions and motivic control of J. S. Bach with the musical disciplines of rhythmic mantra, melody and devotional music from the Sikh lineage of musicians and spiritual teachers ending with Guru Gobind Singh and the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. Thus, Tantric Bach was born.)

The rich singing of Mata Mandir Singh merge with the yearning sounds of the Indian cittern, violin, guitar, penny whistle and tabla This CD is dedicated to the children of the Age of Aquarius. In the Sixties, there was a configuration of stars that was the beginning of the cusp period of the Age of Aquarius. (Many young people began to rebel against the systems of society that were seen to repress the true human spirit. We let our hair and beards grow and began to meditate without knowing why. We marched against wars for profit, and looked for new ways to express our reality. Many took drugs and died, many were put in prison, many began spiritual practices to keep their energy up. Some of you may remember the prophetic song, "Age of Aquarius," from the musical "Hair." The astrological configuration talked about in the song happened a few months ago as I am writing this. I received an e-mail to that effect on that day that it was happening, and I sat on my roof terrace in Mexico the whole night singing my own version of the song to the stars, the moon and the village dogs. As I've been saying in concerts recently, "I have been waiting 30 years to sing this song, so you will all just have to put up with it because now I am going to sing it." So I hope you enjoy the version herein.)

• Composed, played keyboards, produced, mixed, mastered and created CD artwork for "Baba Siri Chand from Brahm Buta" by Yogi Amandeep Singh. This mantra is a combination of two powerful sounds. Ong in the ancient writings is known as the Beej or the seed. (Ong is the soundless sound and is the primal vibration from which all vibrations came into existence. Sohung means I AM THAT. It is the Gurmantra of Baba Sri Chand as given to him by Guru Nanak. It is a mantra of non-duality, a state of being, where all boundaries and limitations end. One becomes All and All becomes One. Ong Sohung when recited together creates the state of Sehaj where an individual begins to flow with the flow of the universe. Where every action becomes effortless.)

(These timeless channels of healing and meditation can also summon us to reflect on our own personal season of life in the "Journey to the Four Winds". For Native Americans, traditional music usually recounted their experiences with all relationships in the world around them. Ideally, there existed no separation between our daily life, and the supernatural world, so our music was sacred. In the Circle of Life, the Four winds can be guides for us to forgive our yesterdays, hope for a healthy today, see more clearly with our hearts, and to humbly share with others what we've learned.)
